off to Winning Mark
The Second Team recorded their first win of the season with a vital 3-2 win at Old Ashtonians
thanks to an own goal and good finishes from Paul Flanagan and Andy Jenkins.
The
Firsts went down 1-2 on their travels, down the A34 to Gatley.
The
Thirds shared the points in a 3-3 draw with Chorltonians with Trevor Kelly,
Simon Lacey and Matt Lundy netting for Metro.
The
Fourths also drew as Theo Pascoe and Paul Sullivan hit the target in a 2-2
deadlock with Old Stretfordians.
Whilst,
the Fifth were left suffering a hangover, as they were hit for twelve, by
visitors Ashtonians 4ths.
The
home side provided some comical defending as they embarrassingly went down
4-12. Colin Small, Ahmed Ramadan 2, and
Scott Duff got themselves on the
scoresheet.
