The outcome of the AGM is thus:
Signing on Fee is £30 – paid in full before able to play “No Pay – No Play” for those who wish to pay by instalment, then start paying in the months of July and August otherwise you will not be playing September onwards. Nick Griffiths, Malc Maginn, Chris Griffiths and Mo Perkins will administer.
Match subscription is £5 if you start and £2.50 if you come on as a substitute – match subs are free if you hand in a completed Lucky 7 before the game.
Training subscription is £2 but free if you have handed in a completed Lucky 7 the Saturday before. Training is every Saturday afternoon commencing at 2pm and every Wednesday evening commencing at 6.30pm.
Pre-season games will be centrally administered by Russell Hoyte but agreed between the Coaches. Details will be posted on the club website and by printed newsletter on the club notice boards.
The Management Committee will now consider any further nominations for Assistant Head Coach, Third Team Coach and Social Secretary. If anyone wishes to step forward for consideration, then they may do so – names to Mo Perkins as soon as possible. In addition the Management Committee may approach other individuals. If the roles cannot be filled, then the Management Committee will re-shape the club to fit around who is available to lead the teams, the coaching and the social side of the club. In the case of no 3rd Team Coach, this may mean reducing to 4 teams again with the proposed 4th and 5th Teams becoming the 3rd and 4th Teams.
On match days, each team is to make sure that they get into the clubhouse bar for a drink with team mates, doesn’t matter if it is for soft drinks but be together and support the club.
Each team will take in turns to staff the bar 1 week in 4/5 shared 50/50 with the rugby club.
Each team will take a football card round one week in 4/5.
